OUR JOURNEY
Our story began with just one classroom, six bright-eyed learners, and one passionate staff member. With the loving support of our church community, we laid the foundation for something truly special. What started as a humble beginning has grown into a vibrant, thriving preschool-proof that faith, perseverance, and unity can move mountains.
Located in Khayelitsha, we serve a community full of potential but often overlooked.
Establishing a school in a disadvantaged area came with many challenges. Most parents were unemployed, and we received no funding from any organization. Yet, through the tough times, we held onto our vision and trusted in God's grace.
Today, we are proud to nurture 125 learners across six joyful classrooms, guided by a dedicated team of approximately 15 staff members. Our growth has been made possible not only by divine favor but also by the incredible individuals and sponsors who believe in our mission and continue to support our journey.
We are more than a school—we are a family. Every child who walks through our doors is a reminder of why we started and how far we've come. And with each new day, we continue to build a future filled with hope, learning, and love.
Meet the founder
Our preschool was founded by Reverend Phumezo Masango, the Senior Pastor of Christ Church Khayelitsha and a devoted servant of our community. For many years, he has worked tirelessly to uplift and support families in Khayelitsha, always guided by compassion, faith, and a deep sense of purpose.
Seeing young children spending their days in the streets without access to early education, Rev. Masango felt a strong calling: the church must give back. With this conviction, he led the initiative to start a preschool that would offer children a safe, nurturing space to learn, grow, and dream.
What began as a small act of faith has grown into a thriving school proof of what’s possible when vision meets action. Today, our preschool stands as a testament to Rev. Masango’s leadership and the power of community-driven change.

Our Journey
At our preschool, we follow the NCF & CAPS curriculum to ensure a strong educational foundation for every child. But learning here is never dull—we bring lessons to life through fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Whether it’s painting, storytelling, music, or science experiments, our classrooms are filled with joyful exploration that prepares learners for the future while celebrating the present.
